On the afternoon of January 14, Ma Jian, the general manager of the Department of Family Medicine in T&W Medical, shared his charity vision in the forum of the conference. His speech focused on pneumoconiosis with the title "The Breathing Pain". Manager Ma gave a comprehensive introduction about the characteristics, distribution and rehabilitation of pneumoconiosis, and called for the whole society’s attention and care for pneumoconiosis patients, which is a vulnerable group. He said that T&W Medical would rely on the industry resources and use T&W Charity Foundation as a platform to integrate scientific and technological innovation into T&W Charity. T&W Medical will donate 50 oxygen generators to T&W Charity Foundation for the first time to care about pneumoconiosis patients. In 2019, T&W Charity Foundation will initiate a “Charity Project of Caring about Pneumoconiosis Patients”, and the first batch of beneficiaries will be the students’ families where there are pneumoconiosis patients. All students will come from nine T&W Hope Primary Schools. Shaanxi Province is one of the provinces that are most severely affected by pneumoconiosis in China. In 2019, T&W Charity Foundation has determined that the 10th Hope Primary School will be established in an area where patients suffer from severe pneumoconiosis in Shaanxi Province, allowing children who come from pneumoconiosis families to successfully finish their studies. T&W Charity Foundation will continue to innovate and integrate new resources to help more pneumoconiosis patients recover as soon as possible, and to give them hope of living, so that they can feel the warmth of society and the power of charity.
