In February 2013, with the approval of the Expert Reviewing Committee, the Municipal Development and Reform Commission, the Standing Committee of the municipal government and the Municipal People's Congress, the Company’s "Broadband Network Terminal Equipment Industrial Base Project" was conferred with a Certificate on Major Projects in Shenzhen in 2013 by the Shenzhen Municipal Development and Reform Commission.
Major projects in Shenzhen refer to large-scale investment and construction projects that comply with the Guideline on the Planning of Shenzhen’s Regional Development and the special requirements of the 12th Five-Year Plan. They promote independent innovation and industrial restructuring, including major industrial projects, major livelihood projects, and major infrastructure projects. As a main force propping up Shenzhen’s economic and social development, the major projects play an increasingly prominent role in piloting economic development, driving transformation and the upgrading of industrial structure, as well as stimulating economic growth. The fact that this project is approved as a major project reflects its investment scale, cost effectiveness, high technological level and the Company’s leading role in economic development. By receiving strong policy support and financial incentives, the implementation of the project and the construction of industrial systems will be further facilitated.
With this project being awarded as a major project, the Company enjoys various preferential policies and convenient government services in handling application and reporting facilities, including receiving high-quality and efficient administrative services in all aspects. These include the planning of project site, construction, and environmental impact assessment. By taking advantage of the municipal government’s preferential policies and coordination mechanism on major projects, the Company will certainly embark on a rapid track of development.
